LasVegasRubStud's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I take pride in providing such a personal, and special service as massage therapy to clients who literally put their bodies, and trust in your very hands. I take every massage session seriously, listen attentively as he explains areas of tension, stress and muscles needing attention; running the gamut from serious athletes, weekend warriors, repetitive work related activities, or too much time at the desk. I always make sure clients verbally express their target zones for therapy before any massage is started.. Then, you "listen" to what his body tells you, being in the moment during those 60 or 90 minutes you spend with your client...Yes I will miss that special bond I have with my clients, that trust they put in you for real, personal customized service...and, if I merge both my tactical knowledge / education in the field of massage therapy and the ability to "customize" my techniques, always giving clients the undivided attention and focus they deserve, and should expect. When you agree to provide a client massage services..that "time" is literally theirs, not yours. And when they are gratitude & complimentary post-session..Harmoniously,the universe smiles. I'll miss that..
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like to help my clients really detach from the stresses of the day; to zone out and get lost under my touch..to feel knots and tension slip away, really let my positive energy,,put thier bodies and minds into a state of relaxation and bliss. When client is ready to leave our session, I want him to feel a sense of renewal after escaping the daily stresses we all deal with..and have fond memory of a male bonding experience that truly relaxed and revitalized his muscles from temples to toes.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel often, but not to as many places as I would want to! Lately, I have maintained a consistent and regular clientele in two main cities that I have been focusing on..and I have enjoyed switching things up a bit, especially as this Covid pandemic loosens its grip on my prior clients as vaccinations increase. I had a prior career that really had me travel the US extensively, and some in Europe...so, I did enjoy staying home when Covid kept us locked down..but I am glad to be mobile again!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I ask all the right questions, I think..and never do cookie cutter rubs, its unique to his eventual state of balance, of body and mind. I pay attention to techniques and aromatherapy..encouraging harmony of spirit and soul. I hope my clients tune into the positive energy and appreciate my attention to detail making each session customized and a truly unique bodywork experience, while expanding limits of strict clinical bodywork he may have had in past....focused on his individual needs, body work desires.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I do think my initial training and education as I earned my original certification in massage therapy was incredibly important...knowing the basics of anatomy and muscular system, priceless. Some of the specialized training and seminars I have attended, outside of formal massage education settings have helped me to broaden my knowledge and offer clients new, more intimate lomi lomi, tantric and body electric experiences, as well as offering selection of
versatile massage modalities including Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, trigger point, Sports and stretch, reflexology. I enjoy expanding my knowledge of
the human body, new massage techniques..while always perfecting pleasure producing bodywork sessions on a custom basis.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I do consider myself a successful masseur...because I always strive to give clients a customized, personal massage experience. I know the male body & massage session is always for entire time agreed upon before start. Draping as done in spa, available
I focus on you and full body m2m massage. Temples to toes.. your full body is massaged, no shortcuts...Stressed body and mind relaxed, sore muscles, knots and tension zones covered
..
Whether a deep, muscle penetrating, strong, tension relieving session is requested or a more gentle touch kneaded, your massage time is all about you.
