LatinoStallion's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, I was more nervous than he was but he made MY experience as a masseur easy and enjoyable. He made me trust this kind of gig and I’ve been at it ever since.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I don’t know if it’s addictive, but I do enjoy it and I plan to do this for a very long time. It’s very REWARDING so I can see why some masseurs find this kind of work addictive.
To meet new people, enjoy new experiences, and know that someone enjoys your work and time is definitely fulfilling!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes 100% This has been a WIN/WIN for me.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
One thing I’d want new clients to know is that I am very warm, friendly, and easy going. Despite my vanity and my douchey appearance, I’m actually very approachable and enjoy interacting with everyone.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I kind of want everyone to remember me, I guess just for my vanity’s sake - so I’ll make sure my clients enjoy the experience 💯
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m actually a huge nerd and an artist - I also spend a lot of time at the gym when I’m not slacking. As a business owner it’s challenging to do all of these things consistently, but I keep at it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Why did you become a Masseur?
I wanted a gig that would allow me to both make extra money and meet new people. I think as a Gay man it’s important for my mental and social health to stay connected with other men in a sensual and physical way.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Keep your schedule available, communicate clearly and promptly, give your clients your best work, and offer them deals and discounts if you can.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I think I have the right mix of looks, experience, empathy, and personality that makes working with me a unique experience.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
About 1-2 years and yes, I’m going to work as a Masseur until I’m too old to do it lol
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I’m an Ambivert so I need to recharge at home and then travel and party when I get bored. I have always been in this cycle.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No I don’t think so. If you work out, exercise, or have any physical hobbies then you already know, on some level, what parts of your body need attention. I have a massage routine I work off of, but I always ask my clients what they request / prefer to personalize it to their needs.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to want to book me again. Repeat clients are the best 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
