Laurencemasseur's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
The day I decided to be a masseur was the time that I experienced for the first time not only a great muscular relief in my body, but also a huge pleasure as well as peace and tranquility due to the relaxation I had and the great bond that I managed to have with that masseur . It was wonderful.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, from my perspective it is addictive, but in a beneficial way, especially for those of us who like to help others. Massage and physical therapy, whether therapeutic, sensual or erotic, is one of the best tools we have to manage anxiety, sadness, panic and all kinds of health conditions for which it can be beneficial. Helping others to achieve peace and tranquility as well as physical well-being is wonderful and massage is ideal for that. If helping others to feel good is addictive, from the point of view of therapies and massages, it is. It is wonderful to achieve pleasure and physical benefit by helping others to feel fully well.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, just by making a person feel good, happy, calm, at peace and full of pleasure after offering a massage, and that pleases me, it makes me feel very good about myself and satisfied with having done a great job.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I like that my clients know from the first moment how important and serious it is for me to be able to have them as a client and how grateful I am for the confidence they give me in being able to work on their body. My goal is to provide a space of peace, tranquility, well-being, relaxation, pleasure and excellent connection with them.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
That you feel pleased, happy, and with a desire to return.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I like to help others. In addition to being a masseur, I have also been a client on many occasions and I am still a client. I know in my experience all the benefits that physical therapy and massages give us. One of the most wonderful things that I have discovered as a masseur and as a client, is that in the gay environment, it provides us with incredible security and helps us to accept our body and our ***uality freely. That's another way to help
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a fine art artist and I try to spend a large part of my free time on this task. I am also a lover of meditation, the gym, nature and helping others in various ways.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You must first educate yourself and orient yourself about the work of a masseuse. Massage is helping others and should be seen more as a vocation, not a mere occupation.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My vision is that it is a means to help other people. In the world of massage there are many ways to help other people, if they all help us in one way or another, for me they are valid. My approach is to try to achieve an excellent connection with my client, not only personal, but also physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Let's not forget that we are beings with energy and during the massage they are exchanged. The better the connection, the greater the benefit of energy for both the client and the masseur.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been there for five years and at the moment I want to continue as long as possible.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
At the moment I travel, I really like the experience of meeting people from different cities, but I also have my home base.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Like all work, it is the responsibility of each masseuse to be up to date with all changes in the profession. You must educate yourself and keep up to date.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
With the desire to repeat the experience they had.
