Leon_Heart's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Oh definitely! The noises he was making could easily be mistaken for pain, but I know he was enjoying every single bit of it.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely! Mostly, I would miss listening to the stories and having chats with my clients. I can connect with them and help them feel at ease sharing their lives with me.
It is important for me to make my clients comfortable enough so they can open up!
So, I would say that I definitely hold value in the conversations I have with my clients and the bonds that we create.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Not just yet! In order for me to truly feel successful as a professional in my field, I believe having a consistent base of loyal clients is crucial. While I have obtained a Certificate to validate my expertise and received positive reviews so far, it is the establishment of a regular clientele that will bring me the greatest sense of accomplishment.
It is when clients return to me for my services, knowing the quality they can expect, that I will feel confident in my abilities and truly satisfied with my work.
Having repeat clients who trust in my skills and rely on my services will be the true measure of my success as a masseur.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Me? I believe in being straightforward in my communication. Do what you say, say what you mean. SAY WHAT YOU WANT!
I value honesty and appreciate when people express their thoughts clearly. While I do enjoy various activities and have different abilities and interests, I always prefer discussing them or even showing them in person. I find that face-to-face conversations are far more engaging and effective in understanding one another.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed and also energized, glad to have met up with me.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Usually I'll ride my bike or go hiking somewhere new. That hasn't been the case recently, with the move and all. I am an artist but I haven't even really had a chance to practice anymore.
Why did you become a Masseur?
The healing power of touch
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Go for it, ask all questions and open all doors.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am a down to earth sweetheart.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
1/-?
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Most people hate it but I love to travel. Always a new chance to see something you've never seen and probably won't ever see again!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I don't think so at all, you really just need to be in tune with empathy and judge the needs of the client in real time.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Absolutely re-assured and empowered.
