Luc's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
When I was a kid I was offering massage always to my grandparents.
I remember that my grandpa use to bring me to the Turkish baths.
And I was offering massage to him and to his friends.
And many old men they were telling : "This boy has the Charisma".
For me these words meant a lot.
I kept them in my memory and I was always feeling proud.
Also I remember that since that age of childhood I did like to touch the human body - especially the male body.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes.
If I do not give massage one day I feel that "my day is lost".
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I believe that I am a good masseur because I always try to become better.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I like to make people happy.
I love when my clients leave happy and say that will contact me back.
And I am very happy when I hear from my clients.
When I hear back from a client I feel that I did succeed in my mission.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I like all my clients to tell me that will come again.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am an artist.
I paint.
I write scripts.
And I have done some experimental short movies.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I cannot imagine myself living without offering massage.
Since I was a little kid and my Grandfather was bringing me to the Turkish baths and I was helping him and other older men to bath and I was massaging them - since that time - I felt that touching and serving the male body was very important for me.
I think I been born to offer massage.
I could not explain it more.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You have to be born to be a masseur.
Look in your heart and your heart will tell you if you can do it or not.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I did travel a lot and I know many different cultures.
I can communicate in 4 different languages: English, French, Italian and Greek.
Plus, I do give the massage service with my heart and not only with my hands - and I dare to admit that I do need to offer massage as much as my clients need to receive massage.
All the above mentioned together with all the other aspects of my personality and my physique - all that together - may distinguish me from the other masseurs.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I start giving massage in very young age.
And I think to continue until I will be able to offer the service.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel.
I love to meet new places.
And I love to go deeper - not only to look on the surface but understanding better the world around me.
I wish to have money to travel always!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes.
You need training and you need practice.
Massage is a science.
You have to know the human body as well as a doctor - and I think even more.
The human body is the very object of your work.
Every time you touch a body you have to know where you touch and what you do.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to think that they had a marvelous experience.
I want to help my clients to go into the world of their dreams.
And I want them to come again and again...
