MassageByMatthew's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
My goal with every client is for them to leave feeling completely pain free, thoroughly relaxed and that they received more than what they paid for.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a licensed therapist since 2008. I think I will continue to do massage as long as my body allows, so hopefully a long time! Each year, science and medicine finds new benefits to massage and there's never been more need for the human touch than the current divisive time.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I don't have a preference towards traveling or hosting. Each has its benefits. Whats most imporant to me is what is most convenient for the client.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy photography, traveling, home projects and DIY projects. I'm also a knowledge nerd, so I can get stuck for hours researching any subject until I feel I have a thorough understanding of it.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't know enough about other therapists to know what distinguishes me apart from them. But I know the characteristics that make me who I am and what clients have told me they like. I am very 'down to earth'and a pretty laid back guy. I don't anger easily, I try to be as flexible as possible, and tend to be very understanding of others needs. I like to be on time with appointments and I'm very intuitive to my clients, often knowing what they need before they have identified it themselves. My clients often comment that I have 'good energy' and that they were immediately put at ease upon meeting.
