MrMagooUncut's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client easy-going, respectful and had great conversation skills. I ended up getting to know him pretty well and he still has me do a massage every two weeks.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Genuine, outgoing and positive. I love learning new things and making every day count. My hobby and passion is my travel YouTube channel so I’m always looking forward to the next trip. Since I started the channel, I did a one year road trip around the US, a 6 Month, Rd. trip in Mexico, six months exploring Thailand, and most recently did a motorcycle trip from southern Vietnam up to the northern border.

Besides that, I’m really glad I found this website and so far I only have good things to say about it.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed, stress-free, satisfied.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Always plan to be a little bit early, ask the client what they’re looking for and make sure you understand their expectations. Do your best to make them comfortable being open with you about what they’re looking for so you can give them a positive experience.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Initially I give it a try for the flexibility and freedom. This type of job offers but it ended up working out way better than I expected. I guess I found out I had some hidden talents.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel to new places and I’m always ready to spontaneously book a flight last minute. If I am traveling for work, I’m more than willing to as long as the terms are fair and I’m compensated. Plane tickets and hotels can be pricey.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Sorry, but I have to disagree with this one. I don’t think I would say “addictive”. But giving someone an awesome experience that made their day is really great to see. I could 100% see myself doing this long-term.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Exercise, motorsports, edit, Film, learn new things, and travel.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
So far everybody says 10 out of 10 so I’m gonna take their word for it.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
In my opinion I would say no. Some form of training or studying will definitely help but the way that you touch the client and how you make them feel is far more important. There is much more involved than it might seem. The client is meeting a stranger for the first time and in some cases, might be using the website for the first time also. Good people skills, looking and dressing presentable, reading, body language, and every minute of the massage start to finish, is going to affect what they think and how they feel about the experience. Of course, having massage training is important, but that’s a very small part of the job.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
3 months so far and I I can’t see the future but yes, work stays consistent I would be happy to do this long-term.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Well, unfortunately, I don’t know all other masseurs. But I am definitely transparent about what I can provide, and always honest about prices. Besides that I’m less focused on watching the clock to see you when I can leave and more focused on giving the client what I expected and knowing they were happy when I left.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
From the feedback they’ve given me every one of them has felt satisfied, and like it was more than I expected.
As well as back pain relieved, and “well worth the money”
