Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
LOL that was 18 yrs ago and No I dont! I started into Massage as my Next incarnation of ME and moving to Chicago 23 yrs ago.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
How can you Not get addicted to seeing People leave your massage table with a smile on their face and at least an hr of Living in the Moment!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
And Then some! After being in the Business for now 18 yrs ... YES !
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Being a Cancer I tend to have a Natural Healing Ability and an Intuitive Nature to connect to People. Also after teaching the Profession for 15 yrs my Biggest skill I learnt was to LISTEN to myself and my clients.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Their Smile will say it All!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Living in Chicago my home away from home is always the Lake and the Beach. My Next Fav home away from home is Any Amusement Park across the country... Roller Coaster Junky here!
Why did you become a Masseur?
It was My natural Progression along the path of helping others either as a personal trainer, Physical therapy Tech, or Massage Therapist.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do your Research!!! NOT ALL SCHOOLS ARE THE SAME!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I Respect what I do as a Profession and a Return clientele says it All!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a therapist for the last 18 yrs and My hands will always be with me so that part is up to HIM!!!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as often as I can! There is only 8 States left I have Not been in so still working on that Bucket list. I have also been to 20 other countries around the world. Love meeting new people, cultures and how others live around our 1 Plant.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes and No.... The profession has become more legitimized however there are Natural Born Healers that pick the skills up as they go.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
To leave feeling whole and connected with themselves so they can connect with others around them when they get to where they are going!
