Run, don’t walk, to Carlos’ table! I get a couple dozen massages a year and only repeat the very best masseurs which includes how I connect with the masseur. Carlos’ quick response and detailed information about the experience made me very comfortable with the fact that he would see to it that my massage would be what I was looking for and be customized to my wishes. The massage was terrific. He has a convenient place with easy parking, a warm, comfortable atmosphere and a welcoming table. During my massage, he continually checked in on the pressure and to see if I wanted more or less focus on specific trouble spots. By far the most transformative massage I’ve ever had. I like a deep, extremely hard massage. Often that means you leave feeling groggy and sore. carlos knew how to put my nervous system at ease, and to make me find a new bliss that two days later has me still feeling a level of balance and calm that previously was unthinkable. His technical knowledge isn’t learned it’s felt - he has a body that has been built on experience and he delivered what he knows would work for him but I just feel bad that he can’t experience his own massage, because it’s unmatched. Run don’t walk. The best gift of physical healing I’ve ever given myself was this massage. And the sensual elements which normally are separated and gimmicky were core to the connected experience and were not the important thing which surprised even me. This man is a superhero.

After trying to pin down a time that worked for both of us, we made an appointment and had one of best massages. Carlos was friendly and professional working out the knots I had all over my body. He even has this funny trick to figure out on which arm I sleep on. He was very personable and a great conversation about throughout. I can’t wait for our next session, he has a great way of putting you at ease.

This is the second time getting a massage by Carlos. I don't know which one was better because both of them were such at a high level. Carlos is an excellent masseur. Intelligent and conscientious, he was very responsive about booking a time and explained the options clearly. Once the massage started, I did not want to end. Carlos was very insightful about my particular body and gave me great stretching ideas for when I was off his table. He also could not be hotter. I left completely relaxed and totally satisfied. I scheduled a 90 minute incall service with Carlos for $700. He confirmed the date and time. On the day of service he texted and asked if it would be ok to push the appointment back by 90 minutes and I said that would be ok. I drove to his place to arrive at the new time he had requested. I was a little early anticipating that street parking might be a little difficult. I had texted him on my way and then waited in the car until about 15 minutes AFTER the service was supposed to start before returning home because he still hadn't responded. Then it wasn't until an hour AFTER that that he texted me "hey dude, I completely fell asleep" (this was now at 6:30pm). I waited a few more minutes before responding to him that I had driven all the way there and had waited for him out of respect to his time. Only after then did he text "yea I get it, I'm sorry", yet still made no attempt to offer a rebooking or to make any kind of concession. I had made no personal comments to him and then just simply blocked his number. Shortly thereafter, he texted me from a different number with the following message-
"I explained what happened and I apologized. Like I don’t feel bad enough. And then you act like some stupid F***ot and block me? Are we in fucking high school? Go f*** yourself."
Of course no payment was taken (I had to put in $1 in order to leave the review) and I never met him. As a client or otherwise, I have never experienced this level of rudeness or harassment from a so called professional in my entire life.

Yes, a massage was scheduled. No issues. Yes, I did fall asleep and miss the appointment, something that has never happened before in the 6 months I've been in this space. Let me be clear about what I'm stacked with:
I own and operate a private training studio full-time.
I massage part-time.
I am in graduate school full-time.
I have a boyfriend who is 22, so obviously that is full-time. Lol.
That week was the end of my penultimate semester in school. I was stretched thin. I fell asleep. Upon waking, I texted Jeffrey explaining what had happened and was apologetic. I felt terrible! He said he drove down at 530, and had parked. I can't speak to whether or not this is true.
I said, "yeah I get it. I'm sorry." I didn't say "yea." I said, "yeah." With an H at the end of 'yeah.' This is important in a more nuanced way than Jeffrey undoubtedly understands, or he does understand, and intentionally left off the H from his version of Yea.

This was one of the best massages I’ve had in LA, hands down. Carlos is super friendly, down to earth and a legit massage therapist. Strong hands and exceptional understanding of the body. I felt amazing after the massage and already booked my next appointment. Highly recommend.

I was really impressed with Carlos. Not only did he give a great massage, but he clearly has a great deal of experience with the human body. He was able to point out specific things about me- im left handed - for example - and was able to highlight the areas that needed extra work because of that. Wow! I have had many, many massages, but Carlos really is an expert. His training background gives him an expertise on the muscle groups like few others. He utilizes other tools to work on the muscle knot areas, yet has soothing strokes to make an overall relaxing experience. He has not only made me feel better, but my work-outs are better because of overall improved muscle function. Can't recommend him enough.

Awesome massage! Had my first, but not last, session with Carlos. He knew all the trigger points and intuitively could tell I had a desk job and was right handed based on tight areas.
