To mask or not to mask...that is the question.
Those may not be the exact words which Hamlet uttered, but this question of, and for, our times begs the same importance in regards to life and death.
I had a client ask me about my Covid protocols, and I assured him and want to assure you that I take the utmost care in attending to them. I book clients in advance, so as to make sure I allow enough time in between to air out the space. During that time, I disinfect the table with antibacterial spray; I do so again before the client arrives. All cloths and towels used during the session are not used again until they have been washed thoroughly in hot water with a lot of detergent.
Personally, I’m very hygienic and like to shower before a session, and much appreciate it if the client does as well.
As to the aforementioned question: I am totally fine with wearing a mask while working. For the client, I do leave it up to you, as I know it may be hard to enjoy the experience of being touched while masked. As an FYI, I did have Covid in March 2020; and still have my antibodies. I get tested weekly to make sure.
