NorthbayEscape's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I've always enjoyed providing massage work for clients! It's something I've studied and although it can be taxing the rewards to serve and help others is worth it!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes...I've carved a style that clients seem to enjoy...thank you!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
That they were able to check for a period of time so they are able to check back in refreshed and relaxed!
Why did you become a Masseur?
Many individuals in my family were doctors or in medical field. It came natural and less schooling!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Enjoy baseball, traveling, hiking w/ my dog, family and friends!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Lomi Lomi massage allows for a relaxing therapeutic massage to take place. You're the volcano on my massage table and I'm the water! My job is to carve through the mountain!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes...I try very hard to maintain my body so I'll be able to provide this service for years to come!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Started my massage journey 15 years ago in my mid 20's. Then I decided for a more corporate occupation b/c of an opportunity. Now for the last few years I've come back and really enjoy helping others!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I do travel to different parts of the country. Just got back from 1st visit to Boston! It's a beautiful town and very supportive of the LGBTG+ community!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a little direct, I have a sense of humor and my only two requests of clients are....will the check clear and are they showered?!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be available for your clients!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relaxed and recharged!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It's important to study w/ instructors who have extensive training. Most of the courses have you both give and receive the style you study so you become a professional.
