Oshericos's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first massage client was 20 years ago in 1997, I was 25 years old and very fascinated into my new profession of holistic therapies. The better experiences of my work came 5 years after, and the best since 10 years ago entering to the tantric world.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I'm still a masseur, maybe a "master masseur". So yes, it's addictive as doing sport is... Massage work is part of my life-style. When I don't give therapy - unfortunately I need thearpy.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
What is to be successful? If successful is to get a lot of positive feedbacks i feel ok with it, but successful is more meaning for me to bring something new to the world that people are valuing and that is unsimilar to what others give.
So yes, after 20 years of thearpy experience along traveling 4 times around the world, living in 4 countries and still have a lot of demand and same male profile that come to me - I guess I'm on the right path.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I've born in Israel and never felt part of the israeli mentality, I didn't accept the routine to survive life. I needed to do my journey alone and differently than my family. I was always motivated by the urge to find the "truth" and deepest meaning to my life sharing it with others.
I'm very modest person, I enjoy more from picnic in park than from 5 stars restaurant.
I love to cook my food, to spend more time in indoors, to learn, read and write about human consciousness.
At the age of 25 i've finished my engineering degree and work as engineer for 3 years in total - wasn't for me.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I like that my contacts feel that they have found what they were looking for long time.
I see myself very different than the "common masseur" that everybody can find everywhere.
I need to touch the soul of the person and not only his body.
When man refeels his heart all his body transforms and become healthier. My main aim in my session is to connect the heart of the person melting the ices of fear and fake ego.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to have a lot of free time - I just need it. So don't expect me to see 3 or 4 clients a day, I need to recharge myself very often (I give a lot in each session)
I get charged when I read and write my thoughts, having coffee with good friend is a bless, going to gym is a duty but who could stop this habit.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I didn't become masseur (therapist) I born than way - people have been asking me for help in mental, emotional, spiritual and body issues since I was 6.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
If you love people - if you are sensual, having blessed hands and heart - go for it and heal!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm not a regular masseuse.
My thearpy is a complete method that is called: "Tantra & Kabbalah for men" it combines body and mind work.
The body work is called: TANTRIC MASSAGE and it's an integral section of the mental work also than achieved by:
1. Coaching via Skype: https://tantra2men.com/product/coaching-skype/
2. Tantric courses that men buy on my website: https://tantra2men.com/project-view/sexual-courses/
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've started my path as a body-mind therapist (as typical masseur) on 1997, transformed myself to holistic therapist on 2003, and to tantric teacher (also tantric masseur) on 2006.
I will continue doing it until the end...
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It's hard to be masseur, people could be brutal, expecting from to provide ***, people could let you feel that they have bought you with their money. - You should handle it and to develop a better communicative talents to be clear.
It's also very hard to survive economically when you are living in expensive city as NYC, L.A, LONDON or TEL AVIV, even if you give 1 session per day.
You need to have a strong economic back at the beginning to survive the dry periods especially when you have high costs due to traveling looking for new clients.
Be calm, trustful, patient and accessible for the people that will come asking from you to help. Don't take any client that call you. YOU CAN FILTER AND CHOOSE YOUR CLIENTS.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
There is no happier moments for me to read the emails / sms / whatsaap messages my clients send me 1-2 days after the session.
I appreciate more the feedback that come 1 -2 days after than the typical relaxed smile that come at the end of the session.
I aware that my sessions convert the person to something new, and the significant change and feedback will come when the immediate effect of the session will drown.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
In the past I used to travel around continents (Europe, United States, Mexico and Israel). Today I mostly in Madrid, Spain with short visits inside the country (Malaga and Barcelona), every 2 months I spend 1 month in Tel Aviv, and once a year to NYC or Los Angeles.
