PedrosTouch's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I love what I do. There's nothing like being able to help people feel their best. This is the type of career you don't stress about. I wouldn't want to do anything else.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do consider myself successful as a MT. I have over 90% repeat clientele. I believe that's speaks for itself.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I look for nothing less than a fully satisfied and happy client. I want them to leave feeling taken care off and that I'm worth their time.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love helping people start businesses and come up with solutions that will make them profitable and minimise their stress. I do Business consulting on the side.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You must love meeting people. Accept everyone for who they are and not be judgemental. Be a master of your craft and learn and practice safe ergonomics to prevent injuries.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a MT since 2008. I'm looking to work at least 5 more years in the field. Then probably dedicate myself completely to consulting and training.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love traveling. There's nothing more satisfying than experiencing new places and cultures.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes. 100%. There's a lifetime of learning and you can only get better by continuous training.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Amazing!!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My personality and skills sets me aside. I'm very confident in what I can do. I'm very professional and knowledgeable in my field. My passion for what I do and I genuinely care for the clients I work with.
