What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

I would tell someone,
'You must possess a passion for massage or you won't be successful'
A person can feel when a Masseur isn't fully into giving massages. It's definitely not for lazy people.
'Be mindful of your body. Strengthen your fingers, wrists, arms, back, and legs come with time. Go slowly'
'Get massages regularly' - With this advice I feel one can do unbelievable bodywork because they will know the difference between what feels pleasant & what is uncomfortable.
'Be prepared, be organized, be calm'
'Be prepared for the changes in your demeanor that comes along with being a massage therapist' - for example what one eats and drink can have an effect on your overall performance. So drink water , more often.
'Always be open to learning and listening'
'Be clean and thorough with towels, sheets, bottles, massage space etc...'
'Know yourself fully' - we do come in contact with many different people and their energy can have a negative impact on one's energy/demeanor. I think if you know what yourself you can protect your energy from being tampered with and you can continue to spread the joy!
'Have boundaries'

How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

I have been doing this for almost 3 years in September.
I would like to think I'll be able to continue until I feel another calling

How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

I would like for someone to feel like their focal points were addressed, relaxed, and comfortable enough to return and/or recommend me to others.
