Interview with Carlos at Serenity Spa

Hello Carlos, How long have you been a part of Serenity?

I started Serenity Spa in 2003 from my home in Walden Park, the jewel of South Fulton in Atlanta. In 2006, upgraded to a 2 bedroom loft at Ford Factory 🏭 Lofts on Ponce De Leon changing name to Serenity SBF Spa Body Fitness. In 2016 my new home was located in Upper NWDC between National Cathedral and American University Campus on Massachusetts Ave. Name changed to Serenity Aviary Spa with the addition of parakeets. Currently there are five parakeets housed next door to the Spa.

Do you have a massage table?

Yes, I use a professional massage table with weight capacity of 550 lbs. It is padded and has a head rest. There are cushions for leg / foot support. Fresh linen and plenty of hand towels for clean up and/or wrapping feet during cool down portion.

Do you travel? Do you provide Outcall Service at a client's home or hotel?

No.

The session with Carlos was amazing!! Easy to schedule and easy to get to. Parking easily available on the street near his place. He welcomes you to his warm, aromatic studio, invites you to get comfortable and throws himself into his work, incorporating full body techniques to help work your muscles into a state of deep relaxation. Hot towels, hot stones, and aromatherapy with oils and lotions help to complete the experience. I will definitely be booking another session soon!!

I just had a two hour massage with Carlos. It was amazing and memorable. It’s far more sophisticated than the normal massage. Carlos will introduce you to new potions and lotions that enhance the experience. The physical part of the massage is impressive with new stretching and massage techniques. A totally sensuous and relaxing massage. You’ll definitely need two hours for this treatment. The best.
