Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
A friend was a therapist and told me how much he loved doing massages. I signed up that afternoon! My first client was a body builder..He was super handsome and gave me my first 'tip'
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It is for sure. In fact I was hugging a friend yesterday and he said ": You massage guys cant just hug, you have to work your fingers" lol
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Ive been doing this for 15 years so yes and still loving it
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love my weiner dog Bosco. The big thing for me with massage is intuition. I like to experience the massage not just do one mechanically
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
better than when they walked in!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
music, cooking and creative writing
Why did you become a Masseur?
a friend suggested it because he loved being a therapist, and I was always interested in healing.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
learn how to pay attention to your own body and don't over work at first. slowly build up.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have my own technique which Ive developed over fifteen years. It's hard to explain but I have great intuition and I base massage around that and forming a nice connection with my clients
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
15 years and keep going as long as I can. I love it
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
not very often..about three times a year
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
you learn the basics in school. You learn the rest by getting massages from different therapists. I can never get massaged without analyzing it..lol
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
better physically and that they can trust me and enjoy me for future sessions
