SunGodRah's Massage Interview
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I think the term "successful" is subjective, and we are our own worst critic. I am very competitive, so I always strive for the top. At this point in my life, I believe I have touched enough people's lives, in a positive way, that I could consider myself to be successful masseur. My life’s calling is to help others. I have since I was 14 years of age.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Former D1 Swimmer, so I enjoy being in the water. I am also a nerd and enjoy playing video games, whilst creating an OF. Collab anyone? ;)
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Masseur, formally since 2018. I see myself doing this for the future that I can see in front of me...however long that may be.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to think about it the next day. I want them to feel relaxed and rested yes, but I want them to think about it the following day. Even if it's one time, I want to leave that impression with my contacts.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, to a degree, so you don't injure or hurt someone. Having (at the very least) a basic understanding of the body layout.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Of course. One of my moms. I remember giving her a foot massage at times growing up and her telling me how good it felt.
