The energy seems to be very emotional and charging-up right now. With the wind down of the year and a mix of planets going retrograde and others such as Mercury, which tomorrow will go direct at the Gemini full moon, the energy is palpable.

Today a friend of mine spoke about how they are "recapping this year", which of course breeds nostalgia, as we have often spoken of on this blog. There's another side to the loneliness, nostalgia, and introspection and that's yearning. Of course, there are many emotions felt at this time of year and yearning is one that is filled with deep passion. It's a full on experience.

Yearning is about desiring something to the degree that you may even go to the extreme. Whether you put in ALL your efforts or some other version of that, it feels unbearable to have to wait to have or become. It comes from a space of loss and desiring everything yesterday. Yearning is formed within attachments and is not always the most balanced, or healthy experience.

It's wonderful to desire and to answer to your desires, however getting lost in them in a lack mindset, not an abundant mindset. Everything is happening for you.

It's wild that I'll be in Santa Fe, New Mexico a week from today. I'm SUPER excited! As I'm typing this, I'm shedding a tear over one of the sweetest and most sentimental seasons of Queer Eye. Yes, I am recommending this new season, however that's not what this post is about. As a very sentimental personal, I really appreciate the stories from this season.

Feeling sentimental is a very deep rooted emotion that's often put in the category of emotional. It's complex in that one can feel sentimental over something sad, something nurturing, and something nostalgic. Typically, I feel sentimental is associate most with feeling nostalgic.

Feeling sentimental can be triggered by an object, a shared memory, an experience, and even a person. It's often a feeling we want more of. When we feel sentimental, we can have a hard time letting go, especially when it's the sad kind, attached to grief.

Feeling sentimental is a very high EQ emotion, which means there's intelligence involved in getting yourself to this place. You may not realize it because it's often so fast and automatic. We store these feelings in our body, which is why it's important to massage the body, as well as to move the energy around.
