Tantricmale's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It was many years ago. I can't really remember my first client, but I do remember my first experience receiving a professional massage. I never felt so relaxed and the sense of touch completely transported me to a journey within. I then decided to train and be as good masseur as I could so that then I could facilitate the same feeling, that inward journey to my clients!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I haven't stopped, I continue to enrich my experience with more training and exchanges with other therapists
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I have had a lot of experience and I'm happy to put it all into my treatments, so I'm successful because I have total confidence in what I do
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I like working at a slower pace ensuring a mindful touch, I am Latin American my enjoyment for sensory touch and touching people is embedded in my genes!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Lighter but grounded
Rested but revived
Embraced and happy
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Lots of yoga, theatre, cabaret and training
Why did you become a Masseur?
When i had a massage for the first time, i noticed how my mood was almost instantly changed, i felt held, supported enough for my stress to melt away and muscular tension release, and afterwards i felt relaxed yet refreshed and much much lighter, I then having experienced this lightness, realised that there was so much to explore about the effects of massage that the next step would naturally be becoming a masseur. Helping and encouraging other people to find this sense of lightness, letting go of muscular tension and mental stress is the reason why i keep training, finding new ways, different ways of achieving that, either through purely therapeutic treatments or Tantric massage
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I got certified in 2006, i dont think I'll ever stop doing it, there is too much to learn from it and I really enjoy doing it as well
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have the whole package and Latin spirit;
I've trained extensively in various styles of massage and bodywork plus both, experiencial and theoretical knowledge of anatomy and physiology all the above combined with a fine tuned sensitivity and Latin American sensuality!
