Taoist_Bliss's Massage Interview
Why did you become a Masseur?
My healing touch work is actually my third career path. I was previously a submarine radioman and then studied and worked in the graphics industry that. It was when I lived in California that I felt intuitively called to work with men through an intimate, touch-based process. It felt as if some part of me already knew how to do this work. I sought out training through Body Electric school and also met with Joseph Kramer to assist me in developing my practice.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
What I offer is very gentle, warm hearted and intimate. My intention is to connect on all levels of body, mind, heart, and soul. I see what I do as very nurturing and sacred.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
My goal is to create a heartwarming and uplifting experience. The client should leave feeling calm, relaxed, nurtured, and have a renewed sense of connection with their deeper selves. Sometime a session can also spark a new sense of clarity on how to deal with life situations.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been doing this work for over eighteen years. I sense massage will always be apart of my life on some level.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
My travel schedule varies from year to year. I'm always open to hearing a bout new places to visit, so if you would like me to visit your area, please reach out and let me know so I can see it if works with with my schedule. I look forward to hearing from you.
