Tennuga's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I do! I was probably more nervous than he was! He was so relaxed and easy going and he complimented me throughout the session and it relieved my butterflies. It also built my confidence and then I knew that I might have found something that I am good at!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I can't stop working! I try to take one to two days off but it's not possible for me to do. I like what I do and I am always ready to massage and make the money. Yes I souls miss the massage days.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Well I wouldn't consider myself successful yet but I do pretty well.

I wanted to go into the medical field and I am a natural care taker. I am a very nurturing person and I care about my work.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to feel completely satisfied and they were happy they spent the money! I also would want them to want to contact me again to give another massage.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to play golf, tennis and workout. I like concerts and going to the beach and anything outside by water. I love to cook. Family was in the restaurant business for years so the kitchen is not an unfamiliar place.

It's a lot of work getting clients. You can expect that you won't get every inquiry. There's going to be a lot of let downs with cancellations and missed appointments. Just keep at it and it will work out!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am very laid back and make my clients who seem nervous feel relaxed! I don't watch the clock an. If the session goes over then no big deal. I try to give clients that they pay for and more!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
A year and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I like doing out calls and I mainly can only do out calls.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Absolutely it's is necessary. It will help them come into their own routine and selling point for business. Also it lets the client know that he's been well trained for the job!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel like they made a good choice in selecting me to take care of them! I also want them to feel like they were given the service that they paid for and more..
