TonyBlac's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Apr 26, 18:07
- Like they can't wait to return!
- I would love for them to feel like they just found their new next Massage Therapist because they getting off the heated table feeling relaxed and renewed.
- I think continued and ongoing training is necessary to be successful. There is always something new to learn.
- I would like to think I am a homebody since I have regular clients in my hometown but as I have mentioned before, I love to travel and I do so about three to four times a month.
- Professionally. I have been a Masseur for over 18 years. I think I will continue as long as I am able and I have clients.
- I feel that everyone is unique in their own way because we each have our own energy that we carry around from the different experiences we have had. I'm an optimistic and believe all experiences, good or bad is an opportunity to learn and grow. Also, our experiences often reflects on the energy we put out. I have been blessed to have visited or live in over 52 countries around the the world with amazing experiences with the majority of the being really good. I feel that my energy reflects my personal experiences.
- I became a Masseur because I felt that it was something I love doing and something I could do no matter how mature I get, as well as something I could do while traveling which I also love doing.
- I really believe in the golden rule when it comes to massages. "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them,..." of course adding their special requests which then would make it the platinum rule. Everyone doesn't always want the same thing and I understand that wholeheartedly.
- I will keep this answer simple by saying...yes and yes!
- I guess I would say yes. I am blessed to have so many repeat clients who come back for my therapeutic massages as well as clients in other states that often request that I return again soon. I would not consider myself successful without the support of these regular/repeat clients and their generosity.
- I do remember my first client. I was nervous about hitting all the pressure points and doing a great job so he would not be disappointed and think I was a flake. However, after I was done he said that it was one of the best massages that he has gotten in a while. That bit of compliment gave me the confidence to decide to continue on so I can even get better and gain lots of regular clients.
- Don't become a Masseur unless you like people and you enjoy getting massages yourself. First you in this business you will meet all types of people and you should like people so you will have some enjoyment of meeting so many different types of interestingpeople. Second, if you don't enjoy getting massages, it might be difficult to put real love into your work. I absolutely, enjoy getting massages so I often think of myself being on the table and how like my massage to be of course keeping in mind any specialrequest that the actual client made.
- I love traveling, I enjoy adventures and certain outdoor activities such as Skydiving, jet skiing and Whitewater rafting. I'm also a big anime fan and love Marvel and DC, as well as Sci Fi.
