TouchAndHealing's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel like they are cared for and about, with a sense of connection and relaxation and comfort in their own skin.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I had been giving massages for years for friends and family without pay, but after enough friends and family pushed me to offer my skills to others, I thought I would give it a try! :-)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I love receiving massages, as well as enjoying videos of sensual and erotic massage, so I feel that I have a good sense of how to blend multiple kinds of touch into one experience. I'm also very good at reading verbal and non-verbal cues to help guide me in the direction that will most benefit the person I'm massaging.
People also tell me that they rarely get a scalp or face massage when they get a massage, but they love it when I do it. :-)
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Kindness is my core value, which means I try to lead with kindness and I also value kindness in my interactions with others.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think it's important to be a student of the human body, and that's going to require different levels of study and training for each person. I've spent decades studying bodies of all shapes and sizes across two other careers, which helps me immensely when I am offering touch to others.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I enjoy traveling but my day job makes that challenging. But I'm also not a homebody; I like to be doing things, working on projects, or sharing healing touch. :-)
