Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

I believe it is. The combination of experience and accredited training/schooling is exactly what one should look for in seeking out a good massage. Knowing the body, along with being able to handle anything that might arise during a session. With over 15 years experience there is nothing I have not seen, and it’s rare that anything too surprising can derail a session with me.

How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

As long as physically possible. They say the average career span of an MT is only 10 years, but I have not showed any signs of slowing down. I believe this has been and will continue to be attained. Through good work ethics like correct body posture and proper massage techniques, such as using your own body weight to work to ones advantage, one can have a good long career.

How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

I like a healthy balance with all things in life, and it’s what I strive for. This includes being both extroverted and introverted, as well as travel and home life. I love staying home, recharging, and then traveling some more, and like all things I prefer quality over quantity in my experiences.
