TroyofJersey's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was in Brooklyn at the time and a friend had encouraged me to try it as he knew how much I loved the body and human touch. My first client contacted me and drove from Jersey 2 hours to lay on my table. As we got started I was so nervous and he was too as he was married with kids. After i put oil over his body and started rubbing him he started shaking on the table, I jumped back and asked if he was ok. He said yes, he just longed for the touch of a man so long that he came when I started massaging his legs and butt. He was embarrassed but cleaned offf and stayed to enjoy me doing his shoulders and back. When he got up he gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. It was a great moment and I realized over the next few years that there are so many men who just need that special touch to make them feel whole and complete.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes as time goes on and my career takes off with other pursuits, I have had to leave massage alone more and more. I miss the completely different cast of individuals that would walk through me door, some super shy, some very aggressive and high on god knows what, but all just wanted to have a simple connection to someone.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I am not a partier and young and dumb, wasting every dollar to impress people who will forget me in 10 mins. I have put myself through college and am now almost done with my masters, as well as starting a nice retirement fund.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love to laugh and enjoy making others happy.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
cherished and relaxed and of course, released, wink.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I would say art gym Travel
Why did you become a Masseur?
At first I needed the money, but then it was just fun to meet new people.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Learn how to actually massage, I meet many men who tell me they go to guys who have no idea what they are doing and think they are hot and know it all but it's not true. Yes they want a cute guy but some men want a true masseur. If you can’t massage get off the site and go work at H&M.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm a real gentleman who has never lost his respect for the fellow man. I have manners that have allowed me to travel the world and learn different languages. And I never take anyone who books me for granted.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Ive be doing massage 8 years off and on and want to do them until I can't move my hands anymore lol
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think studying and being an excellent business person enables you to be a successful masseur.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relaxed and completely and totally in love with my hands.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I have traveled lots in the past cople years but am now slowing down as I have a regular 9-5pm job during the week .
