bodysmith's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Peaceful, relaxed, confident and grounded. I aim to offer a laidback and connective experience so you can forget about the rest of the outside world and any stress in your life - at least for a little while. My hope is that you'll leave feeling recharged and at ease, and at least a little bit lighter. ;)
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I think so. I've had largely only successful and positive experiences with my guests, and the reviews I've gotten seem to support that. What matters more to me though is that the guys I work with enjoy themselves and feel that they got what they were looking for from out time together.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be yourself. Nobody is for everybody, and everyone's tastes are different.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Besides looking to make a little extra money, I enjoy connecting with people. Massage is a way to do that both physically and emotionally, and I enjoy getting to help someone feel more at ease and less stressed.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I like to think I'm a very intuitive masseur. It's not only about feeling and listening to the body of the person you're working on, but intuiting what works for each individual. Some like deeper pressure, some have areas that are more sensitive than others. Some guys like to chat, others prefer to just relax and not think. I've found that paying attention and listening to my instincts has always hleped me to better connect with my guests, and offer a more personalized and connective experience.
