chace's Massage Interview
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I actual care about the well being of my clients and offer them an experience that will be engraved in their minds for a lifetime. Meanwhile, other masseurs are only focused on getting you in and out.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love traveling I feel like it makes me more open minded, well cultured, and gives me a diverse perspective on life.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Of course it’s necessary. I did an apprenticeship and learned how to do massage from an older gentleman. I also believe that intuition plays an important factor in doing massage as well.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur for six years now and I will probably continue until my body can't do it any longer or I aged out.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
When a client walks through my door I make it my mission to evaporate all of their problems and pains which they accrue from everyday life. My massage is not just a massage it's an experience from the moment you step into my studio to the moment you walk out.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Anything that involves traveling or being outdoors.
Why did you become a Masseur?
A friend of mine did massage and I was interested in learning. I eventually discovered it to be a passion of mine and have been doing it ever since.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Follow your passion. When you follow your passion your work will only add to your happiness.
