Sacred Intimate: What is that all about?
The more I share massage, I've begun to explore the idea of sacred intimate.
It hit me intensely when I shared an evening of very intimate *** and touch with a man a bit older than I.
It opened my eyes several ways. We had spent the day partnered at a tantra training retreat. I vaguely knew him but we'd never met face to face. Our exercise was called Power and Surrender. Simplified, it breaks down to dom/sub, top/bottom, but on a much more spiritual level. We played each role, flipping mid afternoon.
As the day progressed we realized, independent and unspoken, that we had totally ****ed up the exercise because we had grown a bit too fond of one another.
At the end of the day's training we were free to play together. Without going into all the juicy details, I'll just say that I surrendered. Deeply. Fully. After two hours we began to cool off. Hugging and chatting, he said that this was the first time since he lost his husband 6 years prior that he'd been able to penetrate a man. I cried tears of joy. I had a realization that the erotic energy we bring to our play and our work can be truly healing. It can bring joy, relief, renewal. It can be sacred indeed. It's redefined my job.
