hanzon's Massage Interview
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That I’m absolutely approachable and friendly. Whatever the circumstance of our meeting is, know I am 100% open minded and non judgmental. Also, I am good at keeping secrets. Got something on your mind? Lay it on me and we’ll both take it to the grave.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as much as possible; as soon as there is an opportunity. I could never see myself watch my life go by from inside a house. Traveling has become a fundamental part of who I am and the experiences I’ve gained have only boldened my stance on how travel is a great way to know yourself and how far you can go when you find yourself in new and uncertain situations!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love playing piano, reading online, photography and staying current with the newest music and trends. Occasionally when the weather is right, I like to hang outside and explore the terrains nearby! I also love to eat. Any one that likes food as much as I do has a friend in me.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to leave feeling fulfilled, relaxed, but above all, taken care of. It can be uneasy trying a new masseur so I try my hardest to establish a good connection with my clients from the moment we are within eye contact to the moment we go our separate ways.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, for many reasons.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was so nervous. I dreaded it actually, but beneath the dread, I was excited. They say good things will come from situations that make you feel uncomfortable. It’s the only way we grow as people. I realized when my client was on my table, that I was the one in control and whatever followed was solely dependent on me and the experience I was willing to give. Not wanting to let the client down was a major motivator for that first time. Ultimately they loved the experience and wished me well on this journey.
