Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
OMG it is, LOL, it’s such a great satisfaction to aid another soul get rid of their stress, concerns or just daily nuances that affect us on so many levels.
Yes, I’ll def miss it. Therefore, I will be doing this till my hands allow me to channel this wonderful gift.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Most of us are never touched by our lovers, so I want them to feel they were taken cared of, that I filled that need to be touched through a wonderful massage.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No, massage is about integrating such a skill and give a massage the way you'd like to be touched.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Not as often as I wished but def open to travel.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Combined it has been about 15 years and counting. Absolutely, even if i do it part time on my free time.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My sensitivity to approaching a client. I like to start by introducing my hands to the person I’m working on through a dry rub, adjustment and balance on the table, followed by applying lotion.
This way the recipient feels at ease from the beginning, thus creating a binding spiritual connection.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be yourself, share your wonderful touch you were born with.
Why did you become a Masseur?
The universe put me on this path. A former massage therapist offered to teach me out of nowhere. At the time I was in my early 20’s, I used to do home cleaning, he was a client, one day he goes “do you want to learn massage?”
At first I was hesitant and shy, but as time went by integrated it in a way that was very organic, started taking on clients and people were very happy at how intuitive I was.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I LOVE to cook, make a fantastic flan and mole and enjoy photography.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel a sense of inner peace, bliss and more than anything a sense of being taken cared of.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Easy going, open minded, inquisitive and also a natural cook, which by the way I love to do in my spare time.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
yes, because I have meet wonderful people over the years that always come back for more touch.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was nervous for sure, did every trick I had learned and in the end he said I was very talented, a natural , loved the feeling of my warm hands and said I was very gifted.
