massagebyjamie's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was an American client I met at a rather expensive London hotel. He was kind and we enjoyed great conversation throughout the massage. I had trained professionally in massage but hadn’t used my skills when someone suggested I could work solo, I have never looked back. I was working in an office and decided after my first client that’s it, this is what I am going to do, I enjoy it and the clients love my technique!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would miss it. Massage is like a gym work out. I love the energy and thrill, making my clients happy, the flexibility of it, meeting new people, the conversations, it has led to regular clients and even friends!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely! Daily work surely means I must be doing something right !!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
A lot of my clients tell me they chose me as I just look like the boy next door. I look cute and someone that they would feel relaxed with. What my clients should know about me is those judgements are absolutely right! Im down to earth, professional, kind, and very cute hehe :-)
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like they are thinking ‘when can I meet him again!?’ Relaxed, relieved and walking on air..
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Gym, travelling, cooking, walking around London, family, sleeping and relaxation.. Shopping too..
Why did you become a Masseur?
Around 3 years ago. 2015
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Find your own way! I did :)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My looks, my charm, my professionalism and the fact I can do massage. Yes clients want a nice guy, but clients also want massage at the heart of it and if your not good at that your in the wrong game!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
3 years. I will continue while the calls keep coming and I’m able..
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel usually several times a year.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I believe so, if at the very least in 1 technique such as deep tissue..
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
That they will use me again, that there happy, relaxed and they got just what they wanted from me. If my customers are happy, I’m happy! :)
