massagegeek's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Aug 28, 01:45
- I write novels and songs, illustrate, paint, and I love playing video games. Sometimes watching cheesy romantic comedies to figure out who is going to marry who and why, in addition to watching horror movies to face the greatness of the reality that there is not a slimy ghost trying to come out of my closet, TV or coffee mugs are super fun too!
- I believe everyone matters; everyone deserves compassion and care. I think it would be rude and unfair to compare myself with other Masseurs because I’m pretty sure each person has their own unique skills that help others feel awesome, and by comparing, I do not want to sound as if there is a superiority between individuals because to me, it is not all about who is more distinguished; it is about how I can better an individual’s day. I tend to think every person is like a new planet, and they have their own ecosystem. I truly enjoy discovering what makes them who they are as well as being a part of their relaxation process.
- Make sure to set healthy boundaries with yourself and your clients, because if you genuinely don’t care about your clients’ individual needs, you may not be able to give them the best experience, which means communication is the key that leads you to the best outcomes. Being a Masseur, without a doubt, connects with all the concepts of caring for another human being. Sometimes uncomfortable things can happen either for you or your clients, as we are all humans, and we may not always understand each other perfectly, but as long as you keep being kind, open, caring, attentive, and respectful, there is actually no conflict you can’t resolve.
- One simple quote can explain: “I want to see B. again!”
- I’m the person with whom you can talk about anything, or if you would prefer silence, I can be very quiet and ensure that you have a very relaxing experience. Using one technique to calm someone and expecting the same results is a waste of their time, so I believe valuing individual differences and always paying attention to my clients’ emotions are crucial since how someone feels can also differ at different times.
