tellyrub's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Id like them to feel comfortable, satisfied, stress free and very very very happy.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Extensive? no. But I would recommend in the least some form of basic training.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I have no preference. I love being at home as everything I need has its place. But I also have loved seeing lots of the interesting homes some of my clients have had.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Take at least 1 course, open your mind, get your first client out the way, don't try/aim to do too many clients in 1 day (resist temptation), make sure your in call space is clean and presentable.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm abit of a DIY nut. Most of my furniture has been upcycled or made. I love to get my creative juices flowing on abit of wood haha
Why did you become a Masseur?
I wanted another skill. I'm a barber and male groomer by trade so it just made sense. Plus I like the idea of my hands being both healing and pleasuring.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
They're probably right. I love being a masseur and it definitely shows in my work. Yeah id miss it.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I'm happy at work, I'm good at it and I try to work smart when it comes to the amount of clients I do in a day instead of working hard and tiring myself out. I've had great feedback and a lot of rebooks. So yeah I'm successful.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Me being me. I'm pretty sure every masseur has "their thing" and ive definetly got mine. Book a session and find out what it is.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relaxed, happy, and eager to rebook.
