willfoster's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to walk out the door with a 100% positive experience. I play music, light incense, and overall try to provide the best experience to each and every client.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
A lot of masseurs have a routine. They just do the same massage over and over again. Every massage I give you is different. It's what your body needs at that time.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would miss it a lot. I love that I can heal and give pleasure to someone with my hands. I really do enjoy making you feel good and healing you with my hands.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm a pretty active person so when I'm not rubbing someone down I am hiking, biking, going out with friends, traveling, or sometimes just chilling at home cuddling up watching a movie could be nice too.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I love that I could fix several problems with just my hands or stretching out someone's muscles.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No some people are really pretty natural at it. I have spent most of my life studying and understanding just how to touch someone and I feel that has helped me. I do have a degree in physical therapy and I find that to help especially when it comes to anatomy.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel wherever my business takes me and I love to travel.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Dec 2000 is when I started and I hope to help others for the rest of my life.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Learn the subtle ways to read the human body language. You should be able to feel their body and respond to your clients needs without saying anything.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I have been in business for over 20 years and have traveled everywhere doing this job so I would say yes.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Muscles feeling relaxed and their body overall energized ready to hit the world by storm.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a big believer in volunteering. I was a volunteer firefighter and medic for almost 18 years.
