When I lived in Oregon, I came across Dan’s ad one day and knew that I had to try him out at least once. I contemplated that decision for a few months until I finally pulled the trigger. I have seen him twice. Admittedly, communication was a bit spotty at times, but Dan himself was an excellent masseur. His rates were quite steep for Portland, but your pickings in the area are slim and he really does a fabulous job. I found him to be a little rough around the edges with a colorful past, deep manly voice, and an absolutely amazing physique with big man hands to match. I saw the evolution of his studio as he got settled into his new place at the time. The ambience improved and I always felt comfortable in his care. I never felt like Dan judged me. He was always willing to converse over whatever topic I desired and that adorable smile always made me giggle. His technique was deep tissue with generous use of his fingers to manipulate the tissue, something that I found relatively unique among most sessions I’ve had. Overall, I really liked Dan. Plus, he gave really good hugs. I live in San Diego now, but I have really fond memories of my time with him and I wish him well. 🤗
Can't say enough good things about Dan, I've known him about 5 years now. He's very good at what he does. His deep tissue work is the best. If you have any problem areas he will find them. Or if you just need to relax and forget everything for a while, he will do for you as well. He can be funny and accommodating. But serious and focused when if come to the body work. From what I've experienced with Dan is that he is a talented and over all a good person.
Today was my first appt with Dan. He is the consummate professional, and as a masseur and personal trainer totally understands a man's physiology. His derp tissue massage worked out a lot of my trouble areas some of which I wasn't even aware of. And what's wrong with being attended to by a gentleman with an incredibly sculptured body. No attitude, quality service and a humble man made the experience I am looking forward to again and again.

- I've been doing massage now since 2003, as long as my body will let me is how long I plan on continuing to be a therapist.
- I became a Masseur because I've always loved giving and recieving massage. It's calming to the point of being a form of meditation for me while giving massage and my love for a good back massage is endless!!! I always knew I wanted to be in the health care field I just wasn't sure exactally what profession my choice of massage was due two many factors including length and cost of school, average income of massage therapist, impact of my work on clients quality of life. But most of all it was my love of massage that motivated my choice.
- When I say deep tissue I mean deep tissue... Im not going to hurt you cause Im a professional but effective desp tissue can be borderline uncomfortable many times its not and there are many more methods of effectively working deeper facia without simply adding more pressure...

Covid Update
Hello everybody! Hope you are all doing well! Due to this crazy covid stuff I'm no longer able to provide incall massage, So untill I find a new location for my studio its outcall only and schedule wise I'm also now only able to do massage appointments on the weekends... Typically its best to give me at least one days advance notice.... Thank you all! Have a blessed weekend and stay safe!
