This was my first massage experience with Ramon and I plan to see him again. His ability to assess and find the stress points in my body and incorporate a variety of techniques to work them out was exemplary. His photos are accurate depicting a guy who takes fitness and health seriously.
Communication to set things up was easy. His place is comfortable and well-appointed with perfect music, aromatherapy and massage oils.
I found Ramon's demeanor relaxing and assuring, and confident without arrogance.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ramon, and I must say it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a calming ambiance that immediately set the tone for a relaxing experience. He was attentive and skilled. I could feel the knots and tightness melting away with every movement, and it was clear that the therapist knew how to bring about deep relief and relaxation. His place was clean, comfortable, and filled with soothing aromas, calming plants and blissful music. Every aspect of the massage felt thoughtful and caring… without a doubt, one of the best massages I’ve had in some time! I’ll definitely be returning :)

Amazing experience today. I was anxious going in but he put me at ease right away. Massage was not rushed and he found all the tight spots and trouble areas immediately. Easily scheduled, plenty of parking. The ambience of his space was perfect. Always checking in on the pressure and he got rid of the pain I was having in my back and hip. I was so relaxed I had to come home and take a nap. Please schedule, you will not be disappointed. Fabulous, sweet man who knows his stuff. I will be booking again very soon and hope to become a regular. Thanks again my friend for making me feel human again! Be advised rate paid included tip.

FitProTherapist Personal Masseur Interview

Personal Interviewsgive you the opportunity to know the Masseur you are considering to hire better before you make the first step.

Our Personal Masseur Interviewsare a great way to give a little bit of personal and even intimate information about your massage experience. Get to know him better before you call!

1
Why did you become a Masseur?

- I was working as a lifeguard and swim instructor when I met a massage therapist who was attending one of my swim lessons. We traded services and I decided to go to massage school too! That was 16 years ago and I have been in business ever since. I started my career in miami at the Setai hotel, a prestigious forbes rated 5 star beach front hotel. I then moved to Los Angeles where I opened the Waldorf Astoria La Prairie spa in Beverly Hills. A couple of years ago I moved to San Diego where I currently love living life.

2
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- In my opinion, yes. Knowing your anatomy is extremely important. If you can't name every muscle, it's action, attachment and insertion then you should not call yourself a masseur. We are massaging muscles so if you've ever had a "bad massage" from someone who just rubbed lotion on you, that is because the person doing the service didn't have an understanding of where the muscles are and how to apply pressure to them.

3
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- I have an extensive background and deep understanding of the practice. I consider health and wellness to be my primary passion in life. I love to work out and eat healthy and bodywork, massage therapy and human connection is an integral part of having a healthy happy lifestyle. I see it as a gift and I am honored to share it!

Just Breathe

Nov 05, 22:42

In times of stress we may get flustered or feel overwhelmed, it's ok to step away and just breathe. Close your eyes and lift your chin, inhale through your nose deep into the belly to fully expand.. Exhale through your mouth and when you think you have no more air, exhale even more.. Congratulations you've just centered yourself and are now ready to tackle the day!
