Easy to arrange a massage with Jay. Very welcoming on arrival at his flat. Excellent massage, pressure just right. Shower afterwards.

The communication and getting to the actual location was very easy.
Jay very helpfully answered all my questions, which already showed how professional he is.
I was a bit anxious while going there because it was my first time and didn't know what to expect.
But when Jay greeted me at the door with his soothing voice and body that belongs on a Greek god my anxiety was gone and I knew I was in for a treat.
He showed me where the shower facility is and guided me to the massage room which was perfectly clean, with relaxing music, beautifully dim room and a perfect temperature. He kindly asked me to get undressed and to lay on the table and that he will be back in a few minutes.
There was a fan next to the tabel for air circulation which he asked if it's ok for me to be on, which for me is another great observation when it comes to communications with a client.
The massage itself felt like it lasted for hours. Jay knew where and how hard to touch at the same time making me more and more relaxed with his movements. I've almost felt like I was in a trance the whole time.
The whole massage ended with a explosion of emotions. And once again I have found myself back in the reality of life.
Jay with his soft voice aske me if I would like a shower, which I kindly accepted.
At the end of our session he even helped me find a sauna which was a very sweet gesture.
I'm glad that I have chosen Jay to be my first experience at this because he showed how professional and relaxing this massage was.
I highly recommend having a go with Jay and having all the experience.
The whole massage felt magical
I left feeling a new person.
Can't wait to visit again.

What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- From what I've seen with fellow masseurs is that everyone has a different 'touch'. I've been told my own reassures and takes tension away from the moment, therefore allowing the client to experience a far more relaxed massage.

How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- I've been a masseur for around 8 years now. I think I'll continue indefinitely as I find the experience therapeutic not just for the client but also for myself.

Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- I find that it is quite a workout for myself but also very calming with the varied repeated movements.

Stress & Breathing

We all experience stress throughout the day. It could be a boss or colleague at work breathing down your neck whilst you're trying to finish a project or being stuck on a train that seemingly never moves.

Sometimes there is little we can do but keep trying to move in one direction, no matter how long and painful it's going to take. It affects our breathing and our blood pressure can rise, so taking a couple of minutes to fully concentrate on slow and deep breathing can really help. I use the following method that helps the mind concentrate and focus on the present....

Imagining a colour you might associate with comfort and relaxation (e.g. blue or green) take a deep breath breathing that colour in, through your nose, deep down into your stomach.

Hold for a moment.

Then imagining another colour you might associate with stress and anxiety (e.g. red or black) slowly releasing out through your mouth.

Repeating this four or five times and then return to the task in hand.

Obviously do these in a safe environment so you can fully concentrate on the technique.

I always find a workout at the gym not only great for the body but also for the mind. It focuses me on the day ahead and also leaves me feeling calmer and able to deal with whatever is ahead. A coffee or a pre workout drink can help get me in the mood. Have a good day London.
