Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

Yes and no. Practice makes perfect. Intention and focus are more important than certificates. It may seem like a lucrative career based on dollars per hour, but like any self employment, there are so many unpaid hours to get those paid hours. I was making a lot more money as a nurse, and had more consistency. I do this because it is more fulfilling. Training alone wont do it if you're not passionate about it. Training can help one feel confident which is important.

Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

Yes and no. Because of the unique style that I provide, which is truly a therapeutic modality, with pleasure coaching and education, there's not a lot of awareness of all that I can provide. Not many people understand erotic hypnosis or something like masturbation coaching. The somatic *** education modality is not well known. I can give a standard erotic massage and feel successful in delivering that, but my desire is to be a successful somatic *** educator who utilizes erotic hypnosis and Taoist erotic practices. At this point, not a lot of people are asking for that. They just dont know it exists!

Why did you become a Masseur?

It kind of unfolded over time. I think I was touch deprived as a teen. I felt lonely being the only gay in the village kind of scenario. When I did start to have contact with men, I just enjoyed it so much. I also realized that It was pleasurable to give pleasure. I loved the feeling of being able to facilitate someone elses pleasure. I liked to see them melt and open. I could feel myself blend with them. I have good intuition, and it helped me find just where to touch people, how to release their tension and how to give them a lot of pleasure.
