Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I would say be prepared to continuously learn. From continuing education credits to learning tips and tricks for improving your technique, you will constantly learn in this profession.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy a few things. I love to cook, being a kajun, I truly enjoy cooking dishes that require spice. Jambalaya, ***** rice, gumbo, crawfish bisque, etouffee, etc. I also enjoy video games, photography, and reading.

My first "client" would have been my MOMO, my Grandmother. I talk more about her in another answer but she was the first person I ever massaged. It is because of her that I entered the profession.
