Miguelon's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Like they will always come back to me.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, I do. I was super nervous. Anxious. I wanted to do an excellent massage. He was from Australia. Tall, slim and smiley with dark hair. He was older than me. I saw him three times and then I moved...
I decided to be a masseur because I am very spiritual and I know that everything touches us. Literally. What we think, what we see, what we listen to and hear, what we smell, what we sence, and everything we get in physical contact with.
So, I got the feeling of touching people with unconditional love. I started listening about the power of the subconscious mind and how it works, about how we communicate with each other and the world. About the connection that exist in all of us, about the body and how it creates memories with everything that it gets in touch with.
I got convinced that we are amazing and that I can touch you with unconditional love. That I can help you let go of the unconscious pain. That I can massage your mind. Your heart and your body, that I would make great memories in your body.
I’ll make sure that every time you think of massage you will engage your own healing powers to liberate all kinds of stress out of yourself, feeling loving and lovable.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Of course. Massage is touch and touch is everything for me. I love expressing love. Massages are the best way of making something good for others and for myself.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
YES!
Through the years I have gotten a lot of experience and I have incorporated spirituality and meditation to the massage session.
I have a 13 inches Tibetan bowl that helps to get rid of the negativity. I created my own precidure to do so.
I give unconditional love to my clients. I provide safe intimacy. I give unconditional love to each of them because we are all worthy. We are all equals. We are all fragile little children, we all have insecurities, doubts, worries, shame, guilt, resentment etc etc... I don’t care about age, race, size or shape, just be showered.
I make sure they feel safe and that there is nothing to worry about but loving us unconditionally.
They are pretty much happy and always come back.
I feel honored to be a massage therapist and I am successful as well.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would love for them to know that I don’t discriminate any age, any race or shape. That I am open and receptive to love. That I will make them feel safe. We are all vulnerable. We are all fragile. We all need unconditional love and I am happy to give it. That I always pay attention to what is important for them. That I am happy and very easy going. That they can be themselves with me and feel safe.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like for them to feel like they don’t want to leave. I would like for them to always go back to me. I want them to feel super safe, pleased of all they got from me. Sure that they loved my space and time with them. That I am opened and receptive to them. That I love them unconditionally and I am always available to them.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I actually love singing and dancing. I am not so good at singing but if i am alone I do it happily. Spanish and English. Dancing is awesome to work out and burn calories. I also like nature documentaries or just go for long walks.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I am a masseur because I love touching and everything around us touch us. What we see, what we read. What we smell, what we hear, what we sense. I love touching the subconscious mind. I love helping my clients to engage their own healing powers. Our thoughts are touching our soul so I help them use the correct thoughts when we are together. No judging ourselves help the body to open up the heart and then the body feel safe and ready to take the healing touch. Healthy thoughts create a more relaxing experience. I love touching the mind, the heart and the body. All together. We are all loving and lovable and I love helping them engage this side of their being during the session. I love touching with love. I want them to feel my mind, heart and body. I want them to feel safe, loving and lovable. We are special and I help you engage your healing powers to make yourself more secure about all the goods you deserve. Healthy mind, healthy heart, healthy body. Loving experience. More love in your life.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To be open. To be receptive. To be willing to touch any type of body, any age, any race. Any shape. Any size. To be compassionate. To be welcoming to all of the oportunities that will come your way and to be kind to your clients.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I always give the best of me regardless of the age, size, shape or race of the body I will massage. I am always open and receptive to all goods and love transferring to them. I always pay attention to the details and listen to my clientes needs. I reach all the areas of the body. I help you get rid of the bad vibrations and make them feel safe and open to the entire experience.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur for 9 years and expect to do it for 5 more years at least.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I do both but i prefer doing it in my own settings. My studio is welcoming, calm, warm and very quiet. I got music. Aromatherapy. I like my studio and all my clients too. They give me compliments about the way I set it up. I am ready to demonstrate you. :-)
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes. We all need a certain amount of knowledge about anatomy plus the different techniques we can apply to specific areas of the body and muscle groups. We need to know the variety of the types of massages that exist and when we can use them. We need to know what to do and what not do.
